Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The international break is here, and teams that have qualified for the World Cup in 2022 will play international games to assess their readiness for the global event. Ghana have friendlies scheduled with Brazil and Nicaragua, which the Black Stars will take very seriously.<\/p>\n

They see these friendlies as the perfect preparatory games to sharpen their methods and strengthen their chemistry ahead of tough group games against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.<\/p>\n

Ghana’s group opponents will also play two matches during the international break. Portugal will travel to the Czech Republic and host Spain in the UEFA Nations League.<\/p>\n

Whereas Uruguay and South Korea, like Ghana, have scheduled international friendlies. The South Americans will play Iran and Canada in Austria and Slovakia, respectively. South Korea will face Costa Rica and Cameroon, with both games taking place in the Asian country. Ghana will have spies watching all games.<\/p>\n

These individuals have been tasked with taking detailed notes on Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay in order to assist the Black Stars technical team in developing the perfect strategy for all three games in Qatar.<\/p>\n

Ghana will open their World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24, then face South Korea before concluding their group stage campaign against Uruguay in a rematch of the 2010 quarter-final meeting, which the South Americans won after Asamoah Gyan missed a penalty in extra-time.<\/p>\n
