President Nana Akufo Addo on Wednesday made a ‘diplomatic disgrace’ after giving an unfriendly handshake with his predecessor John Mahama.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is not clear what precipitated the cold exchange of pleasantries with the former president when the two met at the at the Kofi Annan Peace and Security Forum at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He had happily shook hands with other foreign dignitories while he approached the main\u00a0opposition leader in a stoney face, indicating a fractured relationship with his 2016 election contender.<\/p>\n

But the 78-year-old president was soon on the stage to talk about peace in the continent, a development that has brought him a widespread condemnation.<\/p>\n

Both camps are yet to react to the ,but a recorded video of has incident has gone viral on social media.<\/p>\n
