MP for Kumbungu constituency, Ras Mubarak<\/strong><\/p>\n

Defeated Member of Parliament for the Kumbungu Constituency in the Northern Region, Ras Mubarak has released a screenshot of a shocking message he received.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the message, the young man who identified himself as a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) said needed financial assistance to pay his rent.<\/p>\n

He added that he was a university graduate who has been unemployed for about six years.<\/p>\n

His plea however was not fulfilled by the lawmaker which infuriated the unidentified\u00a0 young man to rain insults and curses to him.<\/p>\n

The young man claimed her had caused the defeat of the MP in the NDC parliamentary primaries by invoking curses on him using olive oil.<\/p>\n

He stated that the only way the curses will be averted will be after he prays against it.<\/p>\n

The Politician who shared that message wrote: ”<\/p>\n

The cuts and bruises of being a politician. Check this message some dude sent on WhatsApp.?\u00a0Smh”<\/p>\n

Ras Mubarak was one of the nine incumbent Members of Parliament (MP) lost their bids to contest the 2020 Parliamentary Election on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the primaries held last month.<\/p>\n

He lost to a lecturer of the University of Development Studies (UDS), Dr Adam by over 100 votes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
