General captain of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan has made a shock move to sign for Indian Super League (ISL) side NorthEast United having played for top teams in thew world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gyan will move to the ISL when the upcoming season starts on the 20th October ,2019 and\u00a0https:\/\/bookiesbonus.com\u00a0among punters with the best odds for an excellent season for NorthEast United.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ghana’s all time leading goalscorer and most cap player is a free agent since terminating his contract with Turkish side Kayserispor in the summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to have a player of Gyan\u2019s calibre and experience join our squad,” speaking on the signing of the Ghana star , NorthEast United\u2019s Executive Director, Priya Runchal said.<\/p>\n

“He has continuously delivered excellence at the highest of levels of world football and we are confident that he will add a lot of firepower on the pitch here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gyan said: \u201cI am extremely excited to start this new chapter in my career. I have heard great things about NorthEast United FC and the Indian Super League and I am thrilled to be a part of it for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

“I am confident that we can better the wonderful season the club had last year.”<\/p>\n

The well traveled Gyan has had stints with Udinese, Sunderland, Al Ain, Shanghai SIPG and Kayserispor.<\/p>\n

Signed in 2010 from Rennes, the Ghana captain became a hit in the Premier League after scoring memorable goals but surprisingly left just two years later to join Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

Gyan joined the Black Cats from Rennes in 2010 and went on to score double figures for the club before leaving to join UAE Pro-League side Al Ain in 2012.<\/p>\n

The Ghana captain left the Black Cats to join UAE club Al Ain in 2012 after impressing on loan.<\/p>\n

Gyan, who made 37 appearances for\u00a0Sunderland\u00a0after making a \u00a313million move to England, currently plays for Kayserispor in Turkey.<\/p>\n

He smashed 123 goals in 120 games before a lucrative move to Shanghai SIPG of the Chinese Super League.<\/p>\n
