Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will from today, Wednesday, 22 Fenruary 2023, open nominations for the election of its Presidential candidate and Parliamentary Candidates for the 2024 general elections.<\/b><\/p>\n

The nomination forms for Parliamentary Candidates according to the Party will be accessible to all persons for purchase on the official website of the party; www.ghanandc.com.<\/p>\n

Nomination forms for Presidential aspirants can be obtained from the Office of the General Secretary at the Party\u2019s Headquarters at Adabraka, Accra effective 8am today.<\/p>\n

A statement signed by the General Secretary of the Party, Fiifi Kwetey noted that the Functional Executive Committee of the party has, however, put the opening of nominations for parliamentary primaries in some constituencies on hold.<\/p>\n

These constituencies are:<\/p>\n

1. Ayawaso Central<\/p>\n

2. Amasaman<\/p>\n

3. Afram Plains South<\/p>\n

4. Akwatia<\/p>\n

5. Efutu<\/p>\n

6. Gomoa Central<\/p>\n

7. Amenfi East<\/p>\n

8. Evalue Gwira<\/p>\n

9. Assin North<\/p>\n

10. Pusiga<\/p>\n

11. Tarkwa Nsuaem<\/p>\n

12. Ayensuano<\/p>\n

13. Adansi Asokwa<\/p>\n

14. Offinso North<\/p>\n

15. Ahafo Ano North<\/p>\n

16. Sekyere Afram Plains<\/p>\n

17. Ahafo Ano South East<\/p>\n

18. Bosome Freho<\/p>\n

19. Asante Akim Central<\/p>\n

20. Manso Adubia<\/p>\n

21. Manhyia South<\/p>\n

22. Subin<\/p>\n

23. Fomena<\/p>\n

It said the Functional Executive Committee will in due course announce the date for the opening of nominations in the above Constituencies.<\/p>\n
