{"id":38820,"date":"2023-04-02T15:19:21","date_gmt":"2023-04-02T15:19:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/ghana\/uncategorized\/tma-reconstitutes-sub-metros"},"modified":"2023-04-02T16:35:39","modified_gmt":"2023-04-02T16:35:39","slug":"tma-reconstitutes-sub-metros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/ghana\/all-news\/tma-reconstitutes-sub-metros","title":{"rendered":"TMA reconstitutes sub metros"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Ghana. <\/strong><\/span><b>The Tema East and Tema Central Sub-Metro Councils have been reconstituted by the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) to effectively discharge their duties.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Swearing in the newly elected chairmen for the two areas, Mr Yohane Amarh Ashitey, Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, urged all stakeholders to work together to improve the two areas.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that effective involvement and cooperation among local stakeholders would help bring the required development.<\/p>\n<p>Getting appropriate local answers to developmental problems would be easier, if all stakeholders were involved, Mr Ashitey noted.<\/p>\n<p>He also requested input from the local populace, the traditional council, and other interested parties so that the Assembly could address important problems with service delivery.<\/p>\n<p>At the Tema East sub-metro, Mr Dennis Amanor Tetteh received 11 votes to defeat Mr Mathew Adjetey Okunko, who obtained seven, to become the chairman.<\/p>\n<p>At the Tema Central Sub Metro, Mr Sylvester Yankey was sworn in after receiving 15 votes to defeat Mr. Francis Davis Mills\u2019 who had five.<\/p>\n<p>The two chairmen expressed gratitude for being chosen, and pledged to collaborate with the assembly members, TMA, and other stakeholders to guarantee the full development of their various communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/ghana\">Ghana<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Ghana.
