Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>North Tongu Member of Parliament Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has told Ghanaians to look forward to more corruption revelations on the National Cathedral project.<\/b><\/p>\n

Mr Ablakwa has been making a series of allegations of corruption against some members of the Board of the National Cathedral, especially the Secretary Rev Victor Kusi Boateng.<\/p>\n

He said Ghanaians should expect more in the coming days.<\/p>\n

He earlier filed a petition at the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) against Rev Kusi Boateng after accusing him of registering a company in a different name to transact business with the Secretariat.<\/p>\n

Passports made available by the lawmaker showed the name, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, who is registered as one of the three directors of JNS Talent Centre Limited.<\/p>\n

That firm was cited by National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for receiving about GH\u00a22.6 million from the Secretariat for \u201cno work done\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to the Ranking Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament, Rev Kusi Boateng was the same Kwabena Adu Gyamfi despite differences in age, TINs, professions and addresses on the passports.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom unassailable and irreproachable documents in my possession, Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng AKA Kwabena Adu Gyamfi uses multiple passports and multiple identification cards with different names and different dates of birth as his special modus operandi,\u201d the MP wrote on Monday, January 16.<\/p>\n

He later added: \u201cThese explosive findings make the conflict of interest charge in the GHS2.6million scandalous payment by the National Cathedral of Ghana to the shady JNS Talent Centre Limited even more blatant, direct, offensive and absolutely embarrassing.\u201d<\/p>\n

He tweeted on Thursday, April 13, 2023 that CHRAJ has written to him that they are continuing with the investigations into the matter.<\/p>\n

Rev Kusi Boateng however rejected the allegations made against him.<\/p>\n

He said in a statement that \u201cI wish to assure the public that the statement made by Mr Ablakwa are a twisted narration of events to pursue a malicious political agenda.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has never been any criminal intent nor any crime committed in my dealings with the government of Ghana or National Cathedral.\u201d<\/p>\n
