The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the District Assemblies and Unit Committee Elections will be held on December 17, 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Accordingly, the Commission says it is accepting nominations from prospective candidates for election as member of District Assemblies and Unit Committees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a statement signed by its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, the Commission said nominations will be received in all electoral areas in each district from Monday 7th to Friday 11th October 2019 between 9:00am and 2:00pm to 5:00pm each day.<\/p>\n

All potential candidates shall be nominated on the official nomination form of the EC available at the electoral area, the statement noted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
