Dancehall artiste, J. Derobie<\/strong><\/p>\n

Budding Ghanaian dancehall artiste, J. Derobie has accused the erstwhile Mahama administration of causing the current hardship in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ‘Poverty’ hitmaker argued that the Akufo-Addo-led government has been working hard to fix the economy however, the failure of previous governments is stalling the progress.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He explained that the current administration must put in more effort to make Ghana great in the future.<\/p>\n

The emPawa artiste speaking in an interview on ClassFM on Friday, 27 September 2019 said: \u201cAkufo-Addo\u2019s administration, to me, personally, I think he\u2019s working but it is yet for us to see and I think we\u2019ll see it in years to come, not now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, previous governments and all that, people were like the economy was hard. Why is the economy hard? Because there are certain things that we didn\u2019t do or the previous government didn\u2019t do\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince Akufo-Addo came, they are like the economy is harder because we didn\u2019t fix other things in the previous years, it affected us at Akufo-Addo\u2019s time, so, even if Akufo-Addo is fixing it, you wouldn\u2019t see it because the effect is huge. You won\u2019t see it; it\u2019s step by step\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I feel he\u2019s working, but if only he puts in more and more effort, I think in the future things will be great for Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n
