The General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, has refuted claims that he has a political affiliation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said he is not in bed with any political party in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the renowned man of God, political tags on him by some members of the Ghanaian society are deliberate attempts to limit his access.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople say things with passion and conviction about you but I am not in bed with any party or politician,\u201d\u00a0he explained in an exclusive interview on Joy FM\u2019s Super Morning Show, on Friday.<\/p>\n

Archbishop Duncan Williams stated the church is there to provide guidance to the government and politicians.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t believe the pulpit must be used for attacks or insult on those in authority but to tell politicians and government the truth,\u201d\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the role of the church in partisan politics, the man of God said: \u201cthe role of the church is to be the light and the salt on the earth and that is to speak truth to power.\u201d<\/p>\n

To Archbishop Duncan Williams, \u201cwe must have an understanding of our various callings and gifting with no need for rivalry.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
