This because it might be privately lead the local firm to undertake this.<\/p>\n<p>Group Chief Executive of Springfield on this exercise<\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive Officer of the Springfield Group, Kevin Okyere had told JoyBusiness\u00a0about how his excitement with the\u00a0development.<\/p>\n<p>He believes it would fast track the process of its starting full-scale commercial production.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Okyere added that it\u00a0\u201cwould indeed see us become the first independent, group African Energy company to drill in deep water.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter this drilling campaign, we would be able to tell you that from this assets we would produce this number of barrels a day and it&#8217;s going to take this amount of time to be in production,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Group CEO said, \u201cWe hope that they are going to get commercial production in\u00a0\u00a0the next few months.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indigenous oil firm Springfield will begin historic oil drilling in its Deep Water West Cape Three Points Block in the West Region from Monday.
