Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Leverage Microfinance has been recognized as the \u2018Most Innovative Product\u2019 institution at the illustrious 2nd Non-Bank Financial Institutions Awards & Dinner Gala jointly organised by the Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (Ghamfin) and the Financial Advocacy Centre.<\/b><\/p>\n

In an interaction with the press, Chief Executive Officer Gilbert Adamtey expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the organizers for spotlighting their pioneering initiative, the Leverage AgriBis Funding Initiative.<\/p>\n

He underscored that this solution directly responded to the global imperative of enhancing food security.<\/p>\n

Mr. Adamtey highlighted the intrinsic connection between sustenance and agriculture, noting, \u201cEvery entity relies on agriculture in some form for survival. Since our operations rely on people, it is imperative for us to craft a product addressing the bedrock of people\u2019s sustenance\u2014Agriculture.\u201d<\/p>\n

He emphasized the need for other financial institutions to focus on the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n

He added that he is excited about Leverage leading the way and motivating others to follow suit.<\/p>\n

Mr. Adamtey extended his appreciation to the company\u2019s collaborators, including KIC, Mastercard, and attributed the accolade to the collective dedication of the staff and Management of Leverage.<\/p>\n

Under the theme \u2018Sustaining The Gains Of Inclusive Finance Through Innovation And Technology\u2019, the event served as a platform to acknowledge the accomplishments of Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI\u2019s) in their pivotal role as intermediaries.<\/p>\n

Mr. Adamtey indicated that this recognition would serve as a motivation for the organization to redouble its efforts in the forthcoming years as they steadfastly pursue their vision of providing comprehensive financial solution to livelihoods.<\/p>\n

He reiterated the company\u2019s overarching vision \u201cto be a leading provider of financial solution to livelihoods throughout Africa\u201d.<\/p>\n

The awards gala encompassed a range of categories such as \u2018Most Sustainable in MFI Agriculture Financing\u2019, \u2018Most Gender Focused\u2019, \u2018Corporate Governance\u2019, \u2018Contribution to Financial Literacy\u2019, \u2018Most Innovative Product of the Year\u2019, and \u2018The Best Microfinance Methodology\u2019, among others.<\/p>\n

Leverage Microfinance, a legally registered limited liability company under Ghana\u2019s Companies Act 1963 (Act 179) as a non-bank financial institution, has unquestionably etched its name as a trailblazer in fostering financial solutions that underpin livelihoods.<\/p>\n
