Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The Oxford Business Group (OBG) has collaborated with ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (IPP) to develop an independent video that highlights the progress of sustainable industrialisation in sub-Saharan Africa in the West and Central parts of the continent<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGrowth Perspectives Video,\u201d draws insights from OBG\u2019s recent Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report.<\/p>\n

A statement issued in Accra by Marc-Andre\u0301 de Blois, Director of PR and Video Content, Oxford Business Group said as sub-Saharan African economies experience rapid growth and development, governments were increasingly turning to the private sector for expertise in co-developing industrial zones.<\/p>\n

It said in response to this, OBG and ARISE IPP have collaborated to shed light on the pivotal role of sustainable practices in shaping the region\u2019s economic and social landscape.<\/p>\n

The statement said the \u201cGrowth Perspective Video\u201d underscores the significance of adhering to international best practices and principles of sustainability, particularly as businesses in the region continue to evolve and engage in global trade.<\/p>\n

It features the success story of the Gabon Special Economic Zone \u2013 GSEZ Nkok, a flagship initiative in Africa that attracted significant investment and elevated Gabon\u2019s position in the global timber industry.<\/p>\n

Mr. Gagan Gupta, CEO of ARISE IIP said following the establishment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, there had been a notable surge in stakeholder interest for the development of ESG-aligned physical, environmental, and social infrastructure.<\/p>\n

He said this encompasses a spectrum of essentials ranging from electricity, internet, and roads to sanitation and education.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis demand is sparking attraction from African nations towards foreign direct investment and international trade, thereby injecting dynamism into their employment landscapes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cARISE\u2019s overarching objective is to facilitate Africa\u2019s evolution into a sustainable, globally recognized manufacturing hub,\u201d Mr. Gupta added.<\/p>\n

He said through the joint efforts with Oxford Business Group, Chief ESG Officer of ARISE IIP, Bhavin Vyas, said they managed to delineate how their industrial and infrastructure establishment, comparable to their own, aligns with the SDGs, thereby amplifying their ESG commitments.<\/p>\n

Mr. Blois expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration saying, \u201cThe video production aims to highlight how sustainable industrialization can drive economic growth while ensuring environmental and social responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBy partnering with ARISE IPP, as our African Industry regional partner, we aim to bring attention to the positive impact of sustainable industrialisation on sub-Saharan African economies. This video provides valuable insights into how nations can leverage the private sector\u2019s expertise for their economic and societal advancement,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The partnership between OBG and ARISE comes at a crucial juncture, as nations across the region seek avenues for resilient economic growth while addressing environmental and social challenges.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Growth Perspectives Video\u2019 serves as a powerful tool for policymakers, investors, and stakeholders interested in sustainable development strategies.<\/p>\n
