The Volta Regional Secretary of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr James Gunu, has called on Zongo residents to vote massively for the NDC in next year’s general elections.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Mr Gunu<\/strong>, “The party’s 2020 campaign manifesto would carry zongo communities along the path of development, progress and\u00a0prosperity,” hence the need for the various Zongo Caucus Coordinators to mobilise the Zongo communities in the region and Ghana as a whole for victory.<\/p>\n

Mr Gunu said this at a workshop with constituency Zongo Caucus Coordinators in Ho on Sunday, 27 October 2019.<\/p>\n

The workshop was organised by the Regional Secretariat to educate the participants on campaign activities.<\/p>\n

Mr Gunu urged the Coordinators to “work together with their various constituency executive committees to constitute the constituency Zongo caucus working committees to assist the regional manifesto committee with programmes and policies that would represent the hope and aspirations of the Zongos”.<\/p>\n

The NDC in the Volta Region last week adopted a regional manifesto alongside the national one.<\/p>\n
