Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Emmanuel Okai Mintah, a former Eastern Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has assumed the role of Chairman for the party\u2019s National Youth Working Committee.<\/b><\/p>\n

Joining him in this vital leadership role is Kweku Asiedu Nketiah Jnr, who has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Committee.<\/p>\n

These appointments were formalized during a succinct inauguration ceremony held at the Sunlodge Hotel in Accra on Friday, October 6.<\/p>\n

The General Secretary of the NDC, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, had the honour of inaugurating the Committee, emphasizing the importance of upholding the party\u2019s principles and constitution.<\/p>\n

He challenged the committee members to approach their responsibilities with diligence, ensuring that their efforts align seamlessly with those of the Youth Wing and the broader party.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the ceremony, NDC National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo underscored the pivotal role the working committee will play within the Youth Wing\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the committee\u2019s efforts would work in synergy with the Youth Secretariat to advance the Youth Wing\u2019s objectives.<\/p>\n

Mr. Okai Mintah, in his acceptance speech, expressed deep gratitude to the National Youth Organizer and the entire party leadership for entrusting them with this important role.<\/p>\n

He reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to working tirelessly to secure victory for the NDC in the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a significant responsibility, and we are fully dedicated to fulfilling our mandate. On behalf of the entire committee, we pledge our utmost efforts to secure victory for the NDC and HE John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 general elections,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

The committee members boast diverse backgrounds across various industries.<\/p>\n

Chairman Okai Mintah emphasized that each member would bring their unique experiences to bear in fulfilling their mandate.<\/p>\n

The NDC National Youth Working Committee will be at the forefront of Youth Wing operations, particularly in campaign efforts leading up to the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n

As part of the inauguration ceremony, other ad-hoc committees and directorates within the Youth Wing were also sworn in.<\/p>\n

Mr. Okai Mintah\u2019s longstanding service to the party, spanning roles as a TEIN Activist, Constituency Executive Member, Deputy Eastern Regional Treasurer, and Eastern Regional Youth Organizer, reflects his commitment to the NDC.<\/p>\n

He is an accomplished entrepreneur with interests primarily in the mining sector. He holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA) and a Project Management Professional (PMI).<\/p>\n

His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws degree from Brunel University London, Executive Development in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from the University of Ghana Business School, and a BSc in Business Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology.<\/p>\n
