President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has in consultation with the Council of State nominated Mr Henry Nana Boakye as a member of the Governing Board of the National Youth Authority<\/strong> (NYA).<\/p>\n

A press statement sign<\/strong>ed by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Isaac Kwame Asiamah said the development follows the resignation of Mr Arnold Boateng who also served as a member of the Board.<\/p>\n

Nana Boakye is the National Youth Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).<\/p>\n

Nana ‘B’ as he is known in political circles was elected the National Youth Organiser of the NPP in July 2018.<\/p>\n

He beat the other contestants Kamal-Deen Abdulai, Emmanuel Nana Bediako D. Appiah and Dominic Kwesi Eduah.<\/p>\n

APPOINTMENT OF MR. HENRY NANA BOAKYE AS MEMBER OF THE GOVERNING<\/p>\n

BOARD OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH AUTHORITY<\/p>\n

The President of the Republic, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in consultation with the Council of State has by letter dated 29th October, 2019 nominated Mr. Henry Nana Boakye as a member of the Governing Board of the National Youth Authority (NYA).<\/p>\n

This follows the resignation of Mr. Arnold Boateng who also served as a member of the Board.<\/p>\n

In view of this, He is required to serve in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Constitution and the National Youth Act, 939 (2016).<\/p>\n
