Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>A video of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant Kennedy Agyapong has emerged on social media, with him describing people who go into farming as fools. <\/b><\/p>\n

In the stunning clip, the controversial flagbearership aspirant, noted for his explosive outbursts, discouraged people from going into farming, saying only fools would do that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you make money in Accra and you tell me that you are going into farming, you are a fool,\u201d Kennedy Agyapong said in the interview.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIf you are going into farming, you would just be praying to God to make you poor and you will be poor.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is not known when exactly Kennedy Agyapong granted the interview, but dates accompanying the clip, which has gone viral on some social media pages, uggests it\u2019s about a year old.<\/p>\n

Following his decision to contest the NPP Presidential Primaries, several old interviews of Kennedy Agyapong, either in tempestuous arguments, or launching unprintable tirades at people, have emerged on social media.<\/p>\n

The latest viral video averring farmers are fools, has attracted condemnation on social media.<\/p>\n

The Chief Executive of Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors, Senyo Horsi, has hit at Kennedy Agyapong for insulting farmers.<\/p>\n

In a Facebook post on Friday October 27, 2023, Senyo Horsi called out Kennedy Agyapong for also suggesting he would focus on agriculture, after denigrating farmers.<\/p>\n

He wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cPoliticians never cease to amaze. We sure are gullible and small-minded, with an extremely short memory. Dear Kennedy, you call hardworking and daring Ghanaians who venture into agriculture FOOLS and turn around to now say Ghana will feed Africa under your Presidency? How do you wish to achieve that? By nurturing more fools?<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have been a Parliamentarian and an extremely influential politician since 2001. How did you use that influence and voice to reshape policy and the Agric space to ensure Agric works for the Ghanaian? I am just reminded: you used your voice to call those who dared to help feed the Mother Ghana you wish to lead, Fools!\u201d Senyo Hosi posted on his Facebook wall.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am happy to note that the Volta region is not part of your \u2018azaa\u2019 story. I am shocked you added Accra to your plans. Did you not plan to have us the Ewe and Ga people lynched? Oh, maybe it is to make our lands available for your plans. I am Ewe and Ga. M\u2019awu, I die finish.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have had my challenges in agriculture, and I have learned many lessons. One thing I am certain about is the fact that agriculture is winnable but only with the right policies, many of which you could have influenced to make agriculture win. But your wisdom was only limited to discouraging and insulting and now you wish to lead who?\u201d he added in his post.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou called us fools but today, when you wish to be President, you say agriculture is the way, and we must be confident to venture into it. Look hard and all around you. There are only two fools here \u2013 you and you. I Pray those whose gullibility you feast on, wake up\u201d Senyo Hosi further wrote on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n
