Described by the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] as the \u2018de Facto Prime Minister of Ghana\u2019, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has rubbished claims that he runs most affairs\u00a0of the country\u00a0instead of the\u00a0President.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The President\u2019s cousin who has been accused of jetting around the world [with Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo] on official state duties laughed off\u00a0the allegations.<\/p>\n

Gabby Asare Otchere Darko was named as part of over fifty [50] relatives of President Nana Akufo-Addo holding various high public positions.<\/p>\n

At the party\u2019s ‘Moment of Truth’ press conference on Tuesday, National Communications Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi, noted that Mr Asare Otchere Darko who does not hold any official public position, is the brain behind most government decisions.<\/p>\n

He also alleged that Gabby travels around with the President at the expense of the state after showing some pictorial evidence to back his allegation.<\/p>\n

The NDC Communications\u00a0Officer again took a dig at the private legal practitioner for “describing himself as ‘GOD’.<\/p>\n

But in a text message to PEACE FM\u2019s morning show host, Kwami Sefa Kayi during a panel discussion on Wednesday morning, the supposed\u00a0\u2018de Facto Prime Minister of Ghana\u2019 was emphatic that he always funds trips outside the country from his personal\u00a0resources and was not sponsored by the state as suggested by the opposition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
