Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Youth Authority, Akosua Manu (Kozie) has been elected the parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Adenta.<\/b><\/p>\n

She polled 814 against her closest contender, Kwasi Obeng Fosu who had 638. Kwame obimpeh Winfred Nartey had 18.<\/p>\n

Counting is underway in the orphan constituencies.<\/p>\n

Orphan constituencies are areas where the NPP has no sitting MPs.<\/p>\n

In other words, constituencies whose MPs are from the National Democratic Congress or independent candidates.<\/p>\n

The party urged all stakeholders to comply with these provisions to ensure a smooth and transparent process.<\/p>\n
