Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil has urged Ghanaians not to be anxious about elections.<\/b><\/p>\n

He said the upcoming 2024 election will not be different from those held in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve done this for a pretty long time, and we\u2019re good at it. The uncertainty and anxiety of violence should be a thing of the past,\u201d declared Pastor Otabil in an interview on Christmas day.<\/p>\n

Pastor Otabil, known for his insightful sermons and community activism, emphasized the importance of responsible participation in the upcoming election.<\/p>\n

\u201cElections are about choices and consequences. We have to think intelligently about what kind of choice we want to make and what outcome we expect from it,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n

His message underscores the critical role Ghanaians play in shaping their nation\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

Pastor Mensa Otabil also touched on themes of faith, resilience, and finding joy amidst life\u2019s complexities and subjects that resonate with Ghanaians celebrating Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe God we worship today is a God who\u2019s been there all the time. He\u2019s called the Ancient of Days. So God is familiar with human history, of which includes human suffering and human pain. It also includes the joy in the triumphs of human beings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pastor Otabil\u2019s words echoed the spirit of Christmas, a time for celebration, introspection, and renewed hope. He urged Ghanaians to embrace the duality of life, acknowledging both the challenges and the joys that come with each passing year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe cannot say that because somebody is mourning, we shouldn\u2019t rejoice, neither do we say that because people are rejoicing we should ignore those who are mourning. We look at all of that, and we give God the glory for it,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
