Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The Ashanti Regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Augustus Andrews Nana Akwasi, says no amount of effort can save the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from going into opposition.<\/b><\/p>\n

In an interview, Nana Akwasi accused President Akufo-Addo of destroying the economy beyond repairs.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo miracle can save the NPP from going into position, with this level of mismanagement?\u201d He queried.<\/p>\n

He also indicated the outcomes of the recent district-level elections were evident in the mass rejection of the governing party.<\/p>\n

\u201cin the Ashanti region alone NDC affiliate assembly members secured 366 electoral areas an indication that the majority of the people in the Ashanti region are beginning to accept the NDC.\u201d<\/p>\n

He urged supporters of the party not to renege in canvassing of votes for the party \u201cEven our flagbearer is not resting; moving all over the country to preach change to the people, we are not resting until we get the power.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish all NDC supporters, sympathisers and every Ghanaian a merry Christmas.\u201d He said.<\/p>\n
