Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Madina lawmaker Francis Xavier Sosu has said former President John Dramani Mahama is the new hope every Ghanaian needs at the moment.<\/b><\/p>\n

He has therefore appealed to Ghanaians to vote for Mr Mahama in this year\u2019s election.<\/p>\n

Sosu was commenting on the New Year address delivered by Mr Mahama on Wednesday January 3.<\/p>\n

\u2018Listening to him today, I am convinced that H. E. @JDMahama represents the new hope every Ghanaian desires today. Embrace the new hope and the new direction of progress.<\/p>\n

\u201cVote @JDMahama as President 2024 for a renewed hope in Ghana\u2019s progress,\u201d he wrote on X.<\/p>\n

During his address, Mr Mahama believed that there would be a change of government in this year\u2019s presidential and parliamentary elections.<\/p>\n

He expressed optimism of winning the elections to steer the country in the right direction.<\/p>\n

\u201cChange is coming, I am confident that together we will change the direction of this country this year on December 7 2024 and build a brighter future for Ghana, a future you will be proud of,\u201d the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said.<\/p>\n

He further indicated that the NDC would ensure that every vote counts.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet me assure you that your votes will count because we shall protect and secure them.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether we shall build the Ghana we want, a prosperous and a just Ghana filled with opportunities for all,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
