Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The 24-hour economy idea that former President John Dramani Mahama has proposed will transform the entire country covering Hohoe as well, the Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in Hohoe, Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo, has said.<\/b><\/p>\n

In his view, Hohoe will be the biggest beneficiary of the 24-hour Economy if the NDC wins the 2024 elections after observing that Hohoe is the busiest city in the Volta Region.<\/p>\n

He said this while speaking during the flagbearer of the NDC’s \u201cBuilding Ghana we want\u201d visit at Hohoe.<\/p>\n

According to Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo, Hohoe also has the highest number of tourist destinations in the region, therefore, the implementation of the 24-hour economy to turn Hohoe into the best tourist destination in Ghana.<\/p>\n

He mentioned Wli Falls, Tsatsadu Falls, Godenu Talking River, First Miss Ghana’s tomb in Alavanyo, and Mountain Afajato among others as examples of tourist sites that are located in the constituency.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mahama proposed the 24-hour economy idea as part of his measures to transform the economy.<\/p>\n

He indicated that businesses will be provided wit incentives to enable them to run for 24 hours.<\/p>\n
