Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Bayern Munich have completed the signing of 16-year-old Ghanaian prospect Jonah Kusi-Asare from AIK Solna for a reported fee of around \u20ac6.5 million. <\/b><\/p>\n

The promising young striker, who was born in Sweden to Ghanaian parents, had attracted interest from several top European clubs, including PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea, and Club Brugge, but ultimately chose Bayern Munich due to their commitment to developing young players.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an indescribable feeling. I\u2019m very happy to now be at what I consider to be the biggest club in the world and to have signed here. It\u2019s a special day for me,\u201d Kusi-Asare said.<\/p>\n

Sporting director Christoph Freund, Bayern Munich\u2019s sporting director, expressed his delight at the signing, saying, \u201cJonah Kusi-Asare is a young striker with enormous potential.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kusi-Asare, who has previously represented Sweden\u2019s U16 national team, is still eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level.<\/p>\n
