Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications has communicated the upward revision of the balance and transaction limits of customer wallets as approved by the Bank of Ghana.<\/b><\/p>\n

This would take effect from March 1, 2024, the chamber said.<\/p>\n

This development is in line with increasing trends of transactional activities and evolving customer needs.<\/p>\n

Below is a breakdown of the review of daily transactions limits;<\/p>\n

1. A minimum KYC Account which initially had a limit of \u00a22,000 has been upgraded to \u00a23,000.<\/p>\n

2. A medium KYC Account with a current limit of \u00a210,000 has been increased to \u00a215,000.<\/p>\n

3. An enhanced KYC Account with a \u00a215,000 threshold has been reviewed to \u00a225,000.<\/p>\n

Below is a breakdown of the review of Maximum Account Balance limits;<\/p>\n

1. A minimum KYC Account which initially had a limit of \u00a23,000 has been reviewed to \u00a25,000.<\/p>\n

2. A medium KYC Accounts with a current limit of \u00a225,000 has been increased to \u00a240,000.<\/p>\n

3. An enhanced KYC Accounts with a \u00a250,000 threshold has been reviewed upwards to \u00a275,000.<\/p>\n

Below is a breakdown of the review of monthly transactions limits;<\/p>\n

1. A minimum KYC Account which initially had a limit of \u00a26,000 has been reviewed to \u00a210,000.<\/p>\n

2. A medium KYC Account which had no limits on the value of monthly transactions, remains unchanged.<\/p>\n

3. An enhanced KYC Account which had no limits on the value of monthly transactions, remains unchanged.<\/p>\n
