Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of State responsible for State Enterprises, Joseph Cudjoe has shot down claims that the Akufo-Addo administration has failed in terms of infrastructural development.<\/b><\/p>\n

He has challenged critics to go round the country to see the myriad of ongoing infrastructural projects being undertaken by the government for the past seven years.<\/p>\n

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has received backlash for failing to develop the country despite securing several loans.<\/p>\n

Even though the government has constantly claimed to have initiated infrastructural projects than any administration, yet the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) thinks otherwise.<\/p>\n

The Effia Constituency lawmaker, reacting to the 2024 State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered by President Akufo-Addo touted the number of schools, hospitals and other ongoing infrastructural projects undertaken by the government.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Nana-Addo has turned Ghana into a construction site and if you open your eyes you will see these projects,\u201d he stressed in an interview, on February 28.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat this means is that Ghana is developing, and it is imperative for NPP to be retained to enable us complete what we have started,\u201d he argued.<\/p>\n

Joseph Cudjoe was quick to slam the Minority Leader, Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, for castigating President Akufo-Addo over unemployment rate in the country.<\/p>\n

He suggested to the Minority Leader to help educate and empower the youth to embark on bold new ventures instead of criticizing the government over unemployment.<\/p>\n
