This forced the Minority in Parliament to demand that the government immediately release the schedule for the load-shedding.<\/p>\n<p>In the view of the opposition, the country is experiencing load shedding, hence there should be a timetable.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing Journalists in Parliament on Thursday February 29, the Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu, John Jinapor said \u201cWe are reliably informed that dumsor will continue today at 12:00 and it\u2019s only fair that Ghanaians are made aware.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Minority spokesperson for Energy said the government is unable to purchase enough fuel to power some of the thermal plants due to financial constraints, leading to generation challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe best this government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his vice Dr Mahamudu Bawumia can do is to publish the schedule of the ongoing dumsor, so people can plan their lives,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Adding his voice to this discussion, Dr Omane Boamah in a statement said \u201cMahama also completed the Atuabo Gas Processing plant to augment supply of fuel for the power sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe did not blame his predecessors! Yet, the clueless economist said don\u2019t praise Mahama for solving dumsor and some of you bought into the clueless economist\u2019s unparalled naivety. Mahama never asked for praise!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NPP even blamed Mahama for providing excess capacity&#8230; You remember? Today, 2nd March, 2024, I ask where is the excess capacity?
