Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>A Renowned economist Kwame Pianim says he has not been contacted by the campaign team of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to serve as an advisor in his manifesto team.<\/b><\/p>\n

He described the report that says he has been appointed as fake.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it is fake news, nobody has talked to me, nobody has contacted me. I didn\u2019t know when they were inaugurating it. Maybe it is not me, they mean somebody else but definitely, I have not been contacted,\u201d he told on Tuesday, March 5.<\/p>\n

Former Member of Parliament for New Juaben South, Dr Mark Assibey-Yeboah has been appointed to the chair of the manifesto sub-committee on the economy.<\/p>\n

The former Chair of the Finance Committee in Parliament was among the list of persons selected to play key roles in the drafting of the NPP\u2019s 2024 manifesto released on Wednesday, February 21.<\/p>\n

Also, former General Secretary Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has been appointed to chair the sub-committee on housing and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The entire manifesto committee is charged by Mr Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu.<\/p>\n
