Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The recent demise of Member of Parliament for Ejisu John Ampontuah Kumah under suspicion of poisoning has prompted the former head of communications during John Atta Mills\u2019 presidency, Koku Anyidoho to seek an in-depth autopsy report and inquest into the passing of his late boss.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to Anyidoho, the late Prof Atta Mills was vomiting blood profusely during his final moments, parallels that he says are synonymous with that of the late John Kumah.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere is the autopsy, I don\u2019t know, Samuel Atta-Mills (Brother of the late president Atta-Mills) claims an autopsy was done and that he, Samuel has the report, why hasn\u2019t he given the autopsy to his widow on the day late Atta-Mills was buried.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas President Atta Mills also a victim of poisoning?\u201d he queries.<\/p>\n

Detailing his closeness to the incident, the former aide recalls being in the Osu Castle before the unfortunate event unfolded, although not present in the same room where President Atta Mills passed, he asserts having firsthand knowledge of the severity of the situation, referencing records of profuse vomiting accompanied by blood.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Nana Yaa Brefo and Isaac Ekow JB on Onua FM, the Communicator stated that his request comes at a time when he finds himself in court in hopes of clearing his name of allegations that he has a hand in the demise of the late president.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we speak, I\u2019ve been accused of having a hand in the supposed murder of former President John Evans Atta Mills, and I\u2019m in the Tema High Court with Kwabena Bobie Ansah.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy won\u2019t I ask for an autopsy report and an inquest to clear my name, so with the news of John Kumah\u2019s death, God does things in his own good time that 12 years after the death of Professor Atta Mills something so grievous has happened to Ghanaians and there is an issue of poison.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. John Kumah passed away at the age of 45 after a brief illness on March 7, leaving behind a grieving family and community.<\/p>\n

The late Deputy Finance Minister leaves behind a wife and six children, creating an indelible void in the hearts of many.<\/p>\n
