Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party\u2019s (NPP) 2024 Campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has stated that the poll result from Global InfoAnalytics is not a true reflection of reality on the ground.<\/b><\/p>\n

The survey by the research agency revealed that the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramana Mahama, had taken a crucial lead in all three swing regions of the country.<\/p>\n

Mr Mahama leads Vice President Dr. Bawumia with a nearly 20 percent margin.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the campaign team for the NPP appeared unimpressed with the poll results.<\/p>\n

Addressing a news conference in Accra on Tuesday, April 9, Miracles Aboagye confronted the poll outcomes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is not a single organisation that has authority over electoral polling. We have about four, five, six of them that we work with. Unfortunately, it looks like this particular poll [Global InfoAnalytics] is one that we never received their indices that they use.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho are you sampling? Which people are you talking to? We don\u2019t have much we can do about that particular one because it doesn\u2019t tell much. It looks very scanty. It really doesn\u2019t tell off polling that was done properly,\u201d he reiterated.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the campaign team addressed what it described as \u201cattacks\u201d on the government flagship programme, the Free Senior High School policy, by the leader of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe NDC and their incompetent leader, in particular, have not been able to conceal their disdain for the destiny-changing free senior high school policy since, to them, they believe it contributed to the historic defeat in the 2016 and 202 general elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps, it is because for the NDC, the more people get educated, the more they do away with the NDC and the more their electoral fortunes dwindle,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
