Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Ghanaian football legend Asamoah Gyan has revealed his favourite Black Stars teammate, selecting Kwadwo Asamoah for his exceptional qualities both on and off the field.<\/b><\/p>\n

Gyan, who has shared the pitch with numerous superstars including Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien, and Sulley Muntari, singled out the former Inter Milan player as his preferred teammate.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his choice, Gyan highlighted Asamoah\u2019s humour and camaraderie, stating, \u201cThere were a lot of players I played with, but Kwadwo Asamoah was my favorite teammate.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe became my roommate. He is shy but he is very humorous. He cracks jokes a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kwadwo Asamoah, renowned for his precise passes and set pieces, played a pivotal role alongside Gyan during their time with the Black Stars.<\/p>\n

Their partnership contributed to memorable moments in Ghana football, with Kwadwo Asamoah\u2019s assists often leading to Gyan\u2019s crucial goals for the national team.<\/p>\n

Together, the duo played significant roles in the Black Stars\u2019 outstanding performances, including reaching the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup and the finals of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n

Despite their retirement from professional football, both Gyan and Asamoah remain active in different pursuits. Gyan was recently appointed as the leader of Dr. Bawumia\u2019s campaign manifesto committee for Sports ahead of the general elections slated for December this year.<\/p>\n
