Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not go and sleep thinking that they have already won the 2024 general elections due to the favourable polls that are being conducted, Buem Member of Parliament Kofi Adam, has said.<\/b><\/p>\n

He said that the NDC is determined to \u201csave this country\u201d from the \u201ceconomic mismanagement\u201d by the current Akufo-Addo administration.<\/p>\n

The Global Info Analytics survey that put former President John Drmanai Mahama ahead of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.<\/p>\n

The poll puts John Mahama at 54.3 percent, while Dr. Bawumia secured 34.6 percent. Leader of the Movement for Change Alan Kyerematen had 7.5 percent, while the New Force\u2019s Nana Kwame Bediako polled 2.3 percent.<\/p>\n

For the Central region, 94% of NPP voters intend to vote for DMB (much higher than in Ashanti), 3% for AKK and 1% NKB and 0% for JDM. Among NDC, JDM, 96%, 2% DMB.<\/p>\n

Contributing to a discussion on Saturday, April 13, Kofi Adams indicated that per the report, 36 % of persons affiliated to the NPP believe Dr Bawumia has failed, and five percent say they are not sure.<\/p>\n

He said he would add the five percent to the 36 percent, so it means 41 percent believe they have failed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have mismanaged the economy,\u201d he said, and \u201cso such a poll is closed to edible.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added \u201cI am not surprised that they score Mahama high and will win the elections.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked whether the NDC can go to sleep over this favourable [olls, he said \u201cNot at all. we are not sleeping over favourable report, we have the country to rescue.\u201d<\/p>\n
