Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Friday announced that the 2024\/25 Ghana Premier League season will commence in September.<\/b><\/p>\n

With six matchdays left in the current season, there are still several outstanding games involving Dreams FC to be played before its conclusion on June 16.<\/p>\n

Consequently, the new season is scheduled to kick off on September 6, 2024, precisely 82 days after the conclusion of the ongoing season.<\/p>\n

The opening matches of the 2024\/25 season are slated to occur from Friday, September 6, 2024, to Monday, September 9, 2024, spanning across all centres.<\/p>\n

This publication of the calendar follows the approval of the 2024-25 football season plan by the GFA Executive Council.<\/p>\n

The chosen start date aligns with previous commitments to clubs and adheres to the GFA\u2019s planned kick-off month.<\/p>\n

Notably, the current football season (2022\/23) commenced during the weekend of Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18, 2023.<\/p>\n

The early announcement of the league\u2019s start date aims to provide ample time for clubs, players, and stakeholders to prepare for what is anticipated to be an exhilarating and action-packed season.<\/p>\n

The GFA intends to release the full calendar and fixtures for the entire season in due course.<\/p>\n
