The president\u2019s refusal to release the full KPMG audit report on the revenue mobilisation agreement between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML) continues to receive backlash.<\/p>\n

Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni whose outfit the FOURTH ESTATE work led to the revelation in response wrote on X formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe SML deal stinks. If they think hiding the KPMG report will make us forget the SML scandal, they should think again. The SML scandal will not die. And those behind in the past and in the future will face justice, no matter how long it takes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) this month indicated it had terminated the transaction Audit and External Verification Service Contract with Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited (SML), in compliance with directives given by President Akufo-Addo.<\/p>\n
