Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Sunday May 26 joined executives of NPP and other dignitaries, including some NPP national executives and senior government officials, in Washington, for the 30th anniversary celebration of NPP USA Branch.<\/b><\/p>\n

From its difficult beginning, in the early 90s, when the country transitioned from military rule to the 4th Republic, he said, the NPP USA has grown to become a vibrant external branch of the NPP, and its support and contributions to the party cannot be underestimated.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to the branch\u2019s founders for their bold initiative, as well as to all those who have played diverse roles in the success of NPP USA, which now has 27 active chapters across the USA,\u201d Dr Bawumia said.<\/p>\n

He added \u201cThe continuous support of NPP USA, and all other external branches, will even be more crucial as we seek to break the 8 and continue with our transformational vision for Ghana in the 4th Industrial Revolution. It is possible together.\u201d<\/p>\n
