Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect, Imarana Abdulai Gomda in Tamale, the Northern regional capital, for possession of firearms and ammunition without lawful authority.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Police in a social media post on X Friday, May 31, 2024, disclosed the arrest stating that the suspect was arrested at Datoyili Barrier in Tamale on Wednesday, May 29.<\/p>\n

Two SMG rifles with six (6) rounds of 9MM ammunition and two (2) empty magazines were retrieved from him.<\/p>\n

The suspect is currently in custody assisting the Police with investigations.<\/p>\n

The suspect was arrested at Datoyili barrier in Tamale on Wednesday 29th May 2024. Two SMG rifles with six (6) rounds of 9MM ammunition and two (2) empty magazines were retrieved from him.<\/p>\n
