Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is believable and reliable, the Director of Communications of the NPP, Richard Ahiagbah has said.<\/b><\/p>\n

Mr Ahiagbah said this explains why the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs expressed deep trust in his potential to help Ghana.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs summed it up when he called on his Chiefs to support Bawumia\u2019s vision to bear fruit for Ghana. You, too, can support Bawumia for victory on December 7th,\u201d he wrote on X.<\/p>\n

His comments come at a time the Greater Accra House of Chiefs has expressed its confidence in Dr Bawumia to lead the country effectively as President.<\/p>\n

The House of Chiefs believes Dr. Bawumia has the potential to surpass the achievements of his predecessors and make a positive impact on the country.<\/p>\n

The Paramount Chief of Nungua and Acting President of the Greater Accra House of Chiefs, Oboade Notse King Professor Odaifio Welentsi III, expressed these sentiments during a meeting with Dr. Bawumia on Tuesday, June 4 when Dr Bawumia called on the traditional leaders at the Dodowa premises of the Regional House of Chiefs as part of his nationwide engagement with key stakeholders.<\/p>\n

He emphasised that Dr. Bawumia\u2019s calm and composed personality is an asset that will serve him well in leadership and urged him to maintain his temperament.<\/p>\n

According to the House of Chiefs, Dr. Bawumia\u2019s leadership style is a departure from the violent and radical approach that has characterised some leaders in the past.<\/p>\n

They believe his calm demeanour will enable him to make informed decisions that will benefit the country and its citizens.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe state with all emphasis that when it comes to effective leadership, you don\u2019t have to be radical, violent, or pompous to be a bold leader. Being a bold leader is not about brawls, but rather brains.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving observed you from afar, we believe you have a lot of potential to offer this country. Do not disappoint, because your records will always be there \u2013 they will be used to evaluate you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOn selfless leadership, we have less to say about you. Your Excellency, you are an accomplished man. You\u2019re a successful man. Therefore, we are convinced you will not fail the test when it comes to selfless leadership,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Dr. Bawumia thanked the Greater Accra House of Chiefs for their endorsement and assured them that he will not disappoint the country when elected President.<\/p>\n

He also sought their wisdom and guidance in his quest to lead Ghana forward.<\/p>\n
