Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>English-born Ghanaian youngster Kobbie Mainoo has been included in Gareth Southgate\u2019s final squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 in Germany.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 19-year-old\u2019s selection highlights his impressive performances throughout the season with Manchester United.<\/p>\n

Mainoo, born in Greater Manchester to Ghanaian parents, has already been capped by the Three Lions during the last international break. His inclusion in the Euro 2024 squad is a testament to his consistent form, where he played 32 games across all competitions and scored four goals.<\/p>\n

Mainoo\u2019s participation in the Euros could potentially close the door on any future prospects of playing for Ghana\u2019s Black Stars, given his commitment to the England national team.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Liverpool youngster Jarrel Quansah missed out on the final side. However, the Liverpool youngster will feature in the team\u2019s final friendly against Iceland before heading home.<\/p>\n

England will compete in Group D, facing Denmark, Serbia, and Slovenia as they aim to secure their first major trophy since the 1966 World Cup, having narrowly missed out on the Euro 2020 title after losing to Italy in the final.<\/p>\n
