I want to leave,\u201d Agbesimah told Happy FM, citing undisclosed internal issues as the reason for his decision.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the move, Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara emphasised that no player is bigger than the club and would be allowed to leave if they wished.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHearts of Oak is bigger than any player,\u201d he told the media.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf my wife said she doesn\u2019t like me anymore, I\u2019ll open the door for her.\u201d he added emphasising the prestige of the club over individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old joined Hearts of Oak from Bechem United last season and quickly became an integral part of the team. His solid performances and leadership earned him the captaincy in March 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Agbesimah\u2019s move to FC Samartex is a notable one, as the Samreboi-based side prepares for their debut CAF Champions League campaign following their Ghana Premier League triumph.<\/p>\n<p>Hearts of Oak, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, are expected to make significant changes to their squad and strategy.
