{"id":78763,"date":"2024-07-30T16:52:34","date_gmt":"2024-07-30T16:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/ghana\/uncategorized\/all-16-contestants-unveiled-for-gmb-2024"},"modified":"2024-07-30T18:04:14","modified_gmt":"2024-07-30T18:04:14","slug":"all-16-contestants-unveiled-for-gmb-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/ghana\/all-news\/all-16-contestants-unveiled-for-gmb-2024","title":{"rendered":"All 16 Contestants Unveiled for GMB 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Ghana. <\/strong><\/span><b>All 16 contestants for this year\u2019s Ghana\u2019s Most Beautiful (GMB) have been unveiled, setting the tone for yet another display of Ghana\u2019s peculiar cultural heritage to the world.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The contestants were unveiled at the grand launch of the GMB 2024 on Sunday, July 28 at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoluem.<\/p>\n<p>Hatie will represent the Upper West Region, Darkowaa for the Ahafo Region, Nana for the Western North Region, Minkaya for the North East Region, Peprah for the Eastern Region, Etiapa for the Central Region, Owusuaa for the Bono East Region and Awuraa for the Bono Region.<\/p>\n<p>The Northern Region will be represented by Maltiti, Upper East Region by Hama, the Western Region by Abena, Afriyie will represent the Ashanti Region, Makafui for the Volta Region, Titiaka for the Savannah Region, Naa Ameley for the Greater Accra Region and Nana Yaa for the Oti Region.<\/p>\n<p>Judges for this year contest, Dzigbodi Kokudosu, Janet Sunkwa Mills and Comfort Ocran shared their expectations from the contestants for this year\u2019s contest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe standards keep going up every year. We are expecting an amazing 2024 with amazing standards and my rule is influence and difference so when they come in, we are expecting serious results. We are going to challenge us, we are going to make it difficult for us to select every single win,\u201d Dzigbodi Kokudosu said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year our job is going to be really challenging because these girls are smart. The winner would definitely have to have earned their place because it is going to be tough.
