Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua has described the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ashanti votes target of 35% is wishful thinking.<\/b><\/p>\n

He stated that \u2019with able Chairman Wontumi in charge of Ashanti Region the NDC\u2019s target is a wish but not a reality. In life, it is good to have a wish but how to achieve it is what matters most, knowing very well that it is not realistic\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media after donating one hundred thousand Ghana cedis (GHC100, 000.00) to support the party\u2019s Women wings campaign activities at the launching of the regional campaign team and programs, Kodua mentioned that, \u201cthe NPP is still in better positions to win the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n

\u201d\u201dWe have worked across the country, our works are visible. All we have to do is to show prove of our work to Ghanaians through our campaign activities. When we do that, we will be able to convince Ghanaians to vote for us to break the 8 on 7th December\u201d he charged the women\u2019s wing.<\/p>\n

He further added \u201cNational recognizes the role the Women wing plays in the party therefore, I\u2019m here to donate (GHC100,000.00) as seed money to support your programs\u201d.<\/p>\n

The campaign launch was graced by former Majority Leader and MP for Suame Constituency, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Chief of staff Frema Akosua Opare Addo, Chairman Wontumi, National Womens Organizer Kate Gyamfuah among others.<\/p>\n
