Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Mr Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East says the Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Election 2024 Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), remains sensitive to the plight Ghanaians.<\/b><\/p>\n

He emphasised that there was no way Alhaji Dr Bawumia\u2019s government would disappoint the nation, and therefore, urged the electorate to vote for the NPP when they go to polls on December 7.<\/p>\n

In an interview in Sunyani, Mr Ameyaw-Cheremeh, also the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Sunyani East Constituency for the December 2024 general elections, reminded the electorate that it would be politically and economically suicidal if they mistakenly voted for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the presidential and parliamentary elections.<\/p>\n

Mr Ameyaw-Cheremeh, also the Board Chairman of the Bui Power Authority (BPA), the managers of the Bui Generating Station in the Banda District of the Bono Region granted the interview after he inspected the progress of work on the ongoing asphalt overlay of the eight-kilometre Sunyani town roads.<\/p>\n

The Department of Urban is supervising the work on the government\u2019s funded asphalt overlay which would not only facilitate thriving economic activities but also add up to the beauty of the Bono Regional capital.<\/p>\n

Describing the work on the project as a testimony of the Vice President\u2019s passion for development and commitment to listen to and tackle the pressing needs of the citizenry, Mr Ameyaw-Cheremeh said the Sunyani constituency would witness more development, only if the electorates voted for him and the Vice President.<\/p>\n

He therefore entreated all the electorates in the constituency to avoid the temptation of \u201cskirt and blouse\u201d voting, saying he was confident and convinced that with the level of development in the constituency, the electorates would vote for him and Alhaji Dr Bawumia.<\/p>\n

That remains the surest way the NPP could retain political power and continue with the good work in bringing the development of the constituency, and the Bono Region to the next level.<\/p>\n

In a related interview, Mr John Ansu Kumi, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive told that the government and the MP had not failed the people, saying every community in the constituency had equally benefited from the sharing of the national cake.<\/p>\n

He said through the instrumentality of the MP, most of the immediate needs of the local communities had been tackled and called on the electorates to vote and retain the MP and the government in political power for development to thrive.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are seeing all these asphalt overlays because of the instrumentality of the MP and the Vice President, and we would be ungrateful if we fail to vote for them\u201d, Mr Ansu stated.<\/p>\n
