{"id":9135,"date":"2021-02-15T19:15:47","date_gmt":"2021-02-15T19:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/ghana\/?p=9135"},"modified":"2021-02-15T19:15:47","modified_gmt":"2021-02-15T19:15:47","slug":"ugmc-ghana-infectious-disease-centre-get-support-on-vals-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/ghana\/community\/ugmc-ghana-infectious-disease-centre-get-support-on-vals-day","title":{"rendered":"UGMC, Ghana Infectious Disease Centre get support on Val\u2019s Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kasapreko Company Limited has donated 450 Packs of Awake Mineral Water and assorted drinks produced by the company to doctors and nurses of University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) and Ghana Infectious Disease Center, Ga East Municipal Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The donations were made in the spirit of Valentines Day this year and also forms part of Kasapreko&#8217;s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts targetted at the current COVID-19 global pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cManagement is determined to play an active and lasting role in Ghana&#8217;s fight against the pandemic by strengthening the country&#8217;s health system and supporting the frontline workers in these trying times,\u201d Kasapreko Marketing Manager Evans Kwofie said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKasapreko considered the gesture as part of the company&#8217;s social responsibility towards our homeland Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The gesture is expected to serve as a major shot in the arm for the health workers with the growing toll of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in the country.
