Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Some football fans in Ashaiman have expressed mixed opinions about Ghana\u2019s chances against Chad in the World Cup qualifier.<\/b><\/p>\n

While some are optimistic, others remain skeptical due to the team\u2019s inconsistency and tactical weaknesses.<\/p>\n

In a survey conducted, residents highlighted key areas of concern, including missed goal opportunities, lack of midfield creativity, and the need for discipline and proper preparation.<\/p>\n

Mr. Nurideen Mohamed, a phone seller, expressed his frustration over the inconsistencies in the Black Stars\u2019 performance, especially during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, saying that Ghana\u2019s chances of winning against Chad remain uncertain if the team does not improve.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all love the Black Stars, but we cannot ignore the fact that the team has been struggling; the coach needs to select players based on merit, not just big names,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mr. Alfred Amevor, a supporter and seller of wallpapers, questioned the team\u2019s tactical approach, noting that even though the team has a lot of talents such as Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Inaki Williams, poor execution could cost Ghana the chance to qualify for the World Cup.<\/p>\n

\u201cKudus is in great form, and I believe he will be key in these qualifiers, but if Ghana plays the way they did during the AFCON qualifiers, Chad could surprise them,\u201d he cautioned.<\/p>\n

He further reiterated the importance of a strong midfield to ensure a smooth transition between defence and attack.<\/p>\n

Mr. Julius Andoh, a designer, stressed that talent alone was not enough, saying that \u201cthe players must stay focused, and the Ghana Football Association should also ensure proper logistics and motivation for the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that discipline, teamwork, and proper preparation were crucial for success.<\/p>\n

Mr. Phinehas Binney, an electrician, highlighted the need for tactical flexibility, urging the team to adapt to different opponents rather than relying on individual brilliance.<\/p>\n

\u201cA well-coordinated team, not just a group of stars, is what Ghana needs; the players must understand each other\u2019s movements and work together as a unit,\u201d he further said.<\/p>\n
