Our customers and compatriots, as well as the West African hub as a whole, stand to benefit significantly from this,\u201d Madam Gomashie said.<\/p>\n<p>She emphasised the importance of learning from Emirates\u2019 globally recognised service standards, saying Ghana\u2019s own tourism and hospitality industries must adopt similar best practices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose of us who have had the privilege of flying with many airlines know that the service on Emirates is not what you typically find elsewhere. People don\u2019t just pay for cake, they pay for how it is served. And that\u2019s something Emirates does exceptionally well,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n<p>Madam Gomashie said Emirates\u2019 success offered valuable lessons for Ghana as it sought to rebuild a competitive and service-oriented national airline.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe should not only experience Emirates but learn from the quality of service they provide. If we want to position Ghana as a destination of choice, it\u2019s not just about flying, it\u2019s about how we serve, welcome, and treat others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr Joseph Bukari Nikpe, the Minister of Transport, expressed gratitude to Emirates for its role in connecting Ghana to the global network and investing in local infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEmirates has carried passengers from Ghana to the rest of the world. The comfort and convenience we see here today is not just for workers but for all passengers and business travelers, and we hope Ghana, as a growing connectivity hub, can someday play the same role through our own national carrier,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the Emirates Travel Store marks another breakthrough in the airline\u2019s engagement with Ghana and reinforces its role as a major partner in the country\u2019s tourism and aviation development.<\/p>\n<p>Management of Emirates, led by Mr Saood Al Aqili, Country Manager, and Mr Adil Al-Ghaith, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations Centre, emphasised the airline\u2019s commitment to fostering deliberate and strategic dialogue with the Government of Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The objective, they noted, was to explore areas of mutual interest where both parties could exchange knowledge, align activities, and work together to support the sustainable growth of Ghana\u2019s aviation and tourism sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe express a strong desire to share our global expertise with Ghanaian stakeholders.
