Cette maison de Dieu, qui a aujourd\u2019hui 411 ans, est situe\u0301e dans le district de Misside\u0301 Te\u0301lico, relevant de la sous-pre\u0301fecture de Brouwal Sounkin.<\/p>\n<p>Interroge\u0301 il y a quelques anne\u0301es, Elhadj Mamadou Kaba Barry, qui fu\u0302t premier imam de cette mosque\u0301e, est revenu sur l\u2019historique de cette vieille ba\u0302tisse. \u00ab Les fide\u0300les musulmans quittaient a\u0300 pieds Ke\u0301bou, Kambanya, Bowe\u0301, Kouyan, Kakirima, Ningue\u0301lande\u0301, He\u0301rico, Ley-Miro et les autres villages lointains du Fouta Djallon pour faire la prie\u0300re du vendredi. Cette mosque\u0301e a connu sa premie\u0300re re\u0301novation (changement de la paille et pour des to\u0302les en aluminium) en 1966. Les travaux de re\u0301novation ont e\u0301te\u0301 entie\u0300rement finance\u0301s par les ressortissants et re\u0301sidents de Brouwal Sounkin, ceux de la Guine\u0301e et ceux de l\u2019exte\u0301rieur. Depuis cette date, les murs tiennent encore et le toit re\u0301siste aux intempe\u0301ries apre\u0300s 57 ans (1966 a\u0300 2023).
