Devant un parterre de convives re\u0301unis pour l\u2019occasion, Jolita Pons a souligne\u0301 que cet e\u0301ve\u0301nement \u2018\u2019comme\u0301more le re\u0302ve europe\u0301en de construire un espace de paix, de liberte\u0301, de prospe\u0301rite\u0301 et de solidarite\u0301 entre des peuples qui se sont longtemps combattus\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Elle a ajoute\u0301 que \u2018\u2019tous nos acquis, notre mode\u0300le social, notre se\u0301curite\u0301, nos droits et nos liberte\u0301s sont le fruit de notre combat pour la de\u0301mocratie\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

La diplomate europe\u0301enne a ensuite e\u0301voque\u0301 les relations privile\u0301gie\u0301es entre l\u2019UE et la Guine\u0301e. \u2018\u2019L\u2019Union europe\u0301enne a toujours cherche\u0301 a\u0300 partager ce re\u0302ve avec ses partenaires internationaux \u00bb, a-t-elle de\u0301clare\u0301, avant de souligner que \u2018\u2019la Guine\u0301e est l\u2019un de ces pays ou\u0300 l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne s\u2019est toujours montre\u0301e e\u0302tre un partenaire fide\u0300le et fiable\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Elle a pre\u0301cise\u0301 que son institution aspire a\u0300 une \u2018\u2019relation e\u0301quilibre\u0301e et e\u0301quitable\u2019\u2019 base\u0301e sur les inte\u0301re\u0302ts mutuels.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ambassadrice a e\u0301voque\u0301 des domaines dans lesquels son institution intervient en Guine\u0301e allant de l\u2019e\u0301lectrification a\u0300 la sante\u0301 en passant par l\u2019eau et l\u2019assainissement, la formation professionnelle, l\u2019acce\u0300s a\u0300 la justice et la lutte contre les violences faites aux femmes.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Tous ces programmes, dont les montants se chiffrent en centaines de millions d\u2019euros, sont guide\u0301s par un seul objectif: ame\u0301liorer les conditions de vie et le bien-e\u0302tre des populations et notamment ceux de la jeunesse guine\u0301enne\u2019\u2019, a-t-elle souligne\u0301.<\/p>\n

Face aux de\u0301fis mondiaux actuels, Jolita Pons a tenu a\u0300 re\u0301affirmer avec force les valeurs fondamentales de l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne: \u2018\u2019Le respect de la personne humaine et de la vie n\u2019est pas une valeur relative. C\u2019est une valeur cardinale de toute socie\u0301te\u0301\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

En re\u0301ponse, le ministre de la coope\u0301ration, Ismae\u0308l Nabe\u0301, s\u2019est du \u2018\u2019partenariat structurant et multidimensionnel qu\u2019elle entretient avec l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne. Un partenariat fonde\u0301 sur la confiance, sur la responsabilite\u0301 mutuelle et le respect de nos priorite\u0301s nationales\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Il a re\u0301affirme\u0301 \u2018\u2019l\u2019engagement du gouvernement guine\u0301en a\u0300 \u0153uvrer aux co\u0302te\u0301s de l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne pour une collaboration encore plus strate\u0301gique, innovante, tourne\u0301e vers les re\u0301sultats\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n
