Le 25 novembre dernier, le Premier ministre de Sao Tome\u0301-et-Principe [un archipel situe\u0301 a\u0300 239 kilome\u0300tres des co\u0302tes du Gabon], annonc\u0327ait que son arme\u0301e avait re\u0301ussi a\u0300 de\u0301jouer une tentative de putsch. Deux commanditaires de marque arre\u0302te\u0301s : le pre\u0301sident de l\u2019Assemble\u0301e nationale sortante et un autre opposant.<\/p>\n

Le chapelet des interrogations sur l\u2019e\u0301pisode de Sao Tome\u0301 n\u2019avait pas fini d\u2019e\u0302tre e\u0301grene\u0301 que la Gambie, elle aussi, annonce avoir subi l\u2019effet domino du phe\u0301nome\u0300ne a\u0300 la mode en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest depuis quelque temps de\u0301ja\u0300.<\/p>\n

Le porte-parole du gouvernement gambien a annonce\u0301 qu\u2019une tentative de coup d\u2019E\u0301tat a e\u0301te\u0301 de\u0301joue\u0301e mardi 20 de\u0301cembre, et quatre soldats ont e\u0301te\u0301 mis aux arre\u0302ts, qui auraient complote\u0301 pour renverser le gouvernement de\u0301mocratiquement e\u0301lu du pre\u0301sident Adama Barrow. Des complices seraient toujours recherche\u0301s [selon le site Seneweb, Macky Sall, pre\u0301sident du Se\u0301ne\u0301gal et de l\u2019Union africaine, a condamne\u0301 fermement cette tentative de de\u0301stabilisation du gouvernement gambien].<\/p>\n

A\u0300 chaque fois, il faut retourner a\u0300 la case de\u0301part<\/p>\n

Donc, deux tentatives de prise de pouvoir par la force qui viennent comple\u0301ter le tableau de\u0301ja\u0300 bien occupe\u0301 par les putschs militaires du Mali, de la Guine\u0301e et du Burkina Faso. Et tant pis pour les urnes. Questions : qu\u2019est-ce qui arrive a\u0300 l\u2019Afrique, ballotte\u0301e entre tentatives de coups d\u2019E\u0301tat, coups d\u2019E\u0301tat re\u0301ussis et faux coups d\u2019E\u0301tat pour e\u0301liminer des adversaires dans l\u2019arme\u0301e comme dans l\u2019opposition ? Male\u0301dictions ? Fatalite\u0301 ? Ou, pour rester dans le vocabulaire en vogue, changement de paradigme avec le de\u0301sir de\u0301libe\u0301re\u0301 de tourner le dos au mode\u0300le de\u0301mocratique dans lequel certains de ceux qui nous gouvernent se sentent comme dans une camisole de force ?<\/p>\n

Il faut le dire, en de\u0301pit de tout ce qu\u2019on en pense, les coups d\u2019E\u0301tat ne sont pas une panace\u0301e contre la mal-gouvernance qui, malheureusement, est devenue le sport le mieux pratique\u0301 par nombre des dirigeants africains. Car la mise entre parenthe\u0300ses radicale, parfois sanglante, de l\u2019ordre constitutionnel impose un recul certain a\u0300 tout pays qui la vit. A\u0300 chaque fois, il faut retourner a\u0300 la case de de\u0301part… pour repartir presque de ze\u0301ro ! Autant que les putschs militaires, les coups d\u2019E\u0301tat constitutionnels, soit \u201ctroisie\u0300me mandat\u201d et pre\u0301sidence a\u0300 vie, sont a\u0300 de\u0301plorer, comme nous l\u2019avons toujours de\u0301nonce\u0301, au moment ou\u0300 la Co\u0302te d\u2019Ivoire d\u2019Alassane Ouattara et la Guine\u0301e d\u2019Alpha Conde\u0301 y e\u0301taient confronte\u0301es.<\/p>\n
