Africa-Press – Kenya. National Police Service officers based in Lodwar on Tuesday arrested four persons suspected to have stolen cash from a parked car.
The officers first intercepted a getaway vehicle at Sopel along the Lodwar -Kitale Highway.
It is during the operation that four people are said to have been arrested.
Also recovered from the vehicle Sh300,000, 4 smartphones, 8 SIM cards, and 3 button phones.
NPS says preliminary investigations suggest that the money was stolen from a parked car.
“The matter is under investigation by DCI Turkana Central,” NPS said.
