Africa-Press – Kenya. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has welcomed the statement by Chief Justice Martha Koome inviting the executive for a dialogue.
Noting that President William Ruto had embraced the call, Gachagua urged Kenyans to support the dialogue process.
Koome had on Monday called for talks between the Judicial Service Commission and Ruto over his recent claims on some judicial officers working in cahoots to frustrate his projects.
She said the Judiciary had written to Ruto seeking an audience to establish the genesis of his complaints against the Judiciary.
“We will be looking out for that dialogue with the President. We have written to him and I believe that the President is going to give us an appointment,” she said.
